Forced to shelter in place by COVID-19, Americans are spending significantly more time at home – and in their kitchens – than usual.

When asked in April 2020 how the pandemic had changed habits at home, among consumers aware of COVID-19, 66% said they were cooking more at home as well as looking more for new recipes, baking treats, learning new cooking techniques and watching cooking shows more than prior to the pandemic.
